CAMERON, Wis. – Senator-elect Romaine Robert Quinn of the 25th Senate District called on Governor Evers to declare a State of Emergency in response to the severe winter storms that have affected thousands in Northern Wisconsin. A statement from the Senator-elect is below:
“I am asking the Governor to turn his eyes north, to the people who are stranded without heat or power as they dig their way out of this blizzard that has crippled key infrastructure across our corner of the state. The reports I’m hearing give me chills. I hope the Governor mobilizes the necessary agencies, up to and including the National Guard, to restore critical services to the people of Northern Wisconsin.”
