(MADISON) – On Wednesday, Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) will host a public meeting regarding the
proposed site for a Milwaukee Juvenile Correctional Facility. The suggested location, at 7930 W Clinton Ave, is
within Taylor’s Senate district. Understanding the many questions and concerns, that naturally accompany such
a proposal, Taylor is inviting residents and key stakeholders to attend.
Secretary Kevin Carr, of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and members of his staff, will join Taylor in
discussing the proposal. Impacted legislators, at every level of government have been invited to weigh in during
the meeting, as well. Information on the meeting can be found below:
