A new Sunrise in America Political Fund ad seeks to tie Evers to President Biden.
The group said the $500,000 spot is running in the La Crosse-Eau Claire market on broadcast, cable TV and radio.
The narrator says it’s been bad under Biden and Evers, but it’s going to get much worse because winter is coming. The narrator says reports indicate natural gas heating bills are going up 28 percent with inflation already causing pain at the pump, grocery checkout and on rent.
“But this fall, there’s still time to stop the winter pain by voting no on Tony Evers before he makes it even worse — if that’s possible,” the narrator says to close the spot.
