TEMPO Madison—the city’s premiere networking organization of executive women—is accepting scholarship applications from young women who are graduating seniors enrolled in a Dane County high school. TEMPO Madison scholarships are based on financial need and recipients are selected because of their character, initiative, leadership and compassion.

One $5,000 endowed scholarship will be awarded in honor of former TEMPO Madison member Betty von Rutenberg, and an additional 1-3 scholarships will be provided by the TEMPO of Madison Foundation, the amounts of which vary each year.

“We are excited to hear from the many inspiring young women in our community,” said TEMPO Madison Scholarship Co-Chair Renee Boyce.  “Supporting future women leaders is a key part of TEMPO Madison’s mission to help all women succeed at the highest professional levels.”

To apply, eligible applicants should send a resume and a completed application to tempomadison@tempomadison.org by January 6, 2023.

TEMPO Madison and the TEMPO of Madison Foundation have provided $123,000 in need-based scholarships to 41 young women to date.
