STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Today, Sen. Patrick Testin released his record-breaking fundraising numbers for the second half of 2021, following his entrance into the race for Lieutenant Governor on September 24.

In the final three months of 2021, Testin raised over $200,000 with 93% of all contributions coming from Wisconsin. This figure is nearly $50,000 greater receipts for an off-year report than the next highest-raising, non-incumbent candidate for Lieutenant Governor ever. Furthermore, this number is $85,000 more in contributions than the next highest-raising, non-incumbent Republican.

Testin also ended the off-year with the most cash on hand ever for a non-incumbent candidate for Lieutenant Governor with over $130,000.

Following the announcement, Senate President Pro Tempore, State Senator, and candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Patrick Testin, released the following statement:
“Since the end of September, I have been crisscrossing the state and hearing from voters about just how greatly the Evers Administration’s disastrous policies have harmed their families and communities. Fortunately, there is a Better Way Forward, and our next Republican administration will be ready to hit the ground running on day one. I’m incredibly grateful and humbled that so many Wisconsinites have joined our campaign and propelled us to this record-breaking finance report. We’re just getting started, though, and I’m incredibly excited to continue working to spread our message of hope across the Badger State.”

Testin campaign spokesman, Chris Olmstead, added the following:
“Sen. Testin has been putting in the work and the miles to meet Wisconsinites where they are. Their enthusiastic and record-breaking gifts to his campaign are a testament to how badly Wisconsinites want new leadership out of Madison. Pat is the only candidate in the race for Lieutenant Governor with winning bona fides in tough races, and who has the relationships with Republican leadership in the Legislature to assist our new Governor in 2023. Wisconsin Republicans want a Better Way Forward and a path to victory in November: they know that means selecting Sen. Testin as their Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor.”
