[Fox Crossing, WI] – Andrew Thomsen, State Senate District 19 candidate released the following statement:
“Last night, it was widely reported that a draft of a decision that overturned Roe v. Wade was leaked from the Supreme Court of the United States. While this is not final, it shows that the Supreme Court is considering returning abortion to the hands of local communities and states to decide what is best for them. Nevertheless, the leaking of the draft is greatly troubling. I look forward to seeing the result of the investigation that was launched to discover the source of the leak. Although the leak is concerning, the Court’s draft is a promising sign, and hopefully we can end abortion in Wisconsin and protect all life.”
