[Fond du Lac, WI…]  Fresh off his victory at the Republican Party of Wisconsin (RPW) Convention, Fond du Lac County District Attorney announced six new police chief endorsements for his attorney general campaign.

Toney was the overwhelming favorite of RPW convention voters defeating his primary opponent 54% to 27%.  He is also law enforcement’s choice for the state’s ‘top cop’ having recently announced more than 100 individual endorsements from sheriffs, district attorneys and police chiefs as well as the Milwaukee Police Association, Racine Police Association and the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police.

Toney said, “I’m honored to have the support of these police chiefs and the others who already endorsed my campaign.  As the son of a cop, I know first-hand the sacrifices and commitment these talented people make each day to protect families and communities.  As the next attorney general, I’ll fight to ensure they have the resources and support to hold criminals accountable as we clean the mess Josh Kaul has made of the Department of Justice.”

Toney today released the following 6 new police chief endorsements and one former chief:

  • Chief Gary Rose, Fond du Lac County
  • Chief Nate Klapoetke, Waushara County
  • Chief Bryan Frank, Dodge County
  • Chief Kevin Fenske, Waushara County
  • Chief Aaron Goldstein, Fond du Lac County
  • Chief Paul Mott, Waushara County
  • Chief Russ Monacelli* (retired)
