WAUWATOSA, Wis. – This evening, a highly publicized meeting of the Wauwatosa District school board will take place to decide whether or not to adopt graphic sexual and woke gender curricula into their schools, which is not “age-appropriate” and based in “medically accurate information” as Wis. Stat. 118.019 requires, despite the vigorous protest of parents.

Some examples of what is in this proposed curriculum include:

·       Teaching elementary school students that “there are some body parts that mostly girls have and some parts that mostly boys have.”

·       Telling teachers that they should use phrases like “person with a vulva” over “female anatomy” to creative a more inclusive classroom

·       Having middle school students “role play scenarios” around ‘sexuality-related issues.’

·       Teaching high schoolers that the phrase “sex assigned at birth” is “NOT the same as gender.”

Eric Toney, Fond du Lac County District Attorney and law enforcement’s choice for Attorney General, today released the following statement hammering Josh Kaul for refusing to side with parents:

“Wisconsin needs an Attorney General with a proven track record of standing up for the rule of law, who will stand with our parents, and protect our kids. That is my record and when I’m elected Attorney General, I will do just that.”

“Josh Kaul has shown himself to be a liberal activist Attorney General that has turned his back on parents and kids. Under Kaul’s failed leadership, the DOJ’s Office of School Safety threatened parents saying ‘speech can become criminal’ as parents have stood up for their kids in an overwhelmingly peaceful and appropriate manner. Parents and teachers have First Amendment rights and should never be treated like ‘domestic terrorists’ for speaking out against woke curricula. Parents are the primary educators of their children and no school board should encourage an educator to step between a parent and their child. I support the Parental Bill of Rights, curriculum transparency, and universal school choice.”

District Attorney Eric Toney has bipartisan support and is endorsed by over 100 Sheriffs, District Attorneys, and Police Chiefs, and has been unanimously endorsed by the Wisconsin Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge, the Milwaukee Police Association, the Racine Police Association, and the Milwaukee Police Supervisors Organization.
