WASHINGTON, DC – This Friday, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) and Congressman Greg Stanton (AZ-09) will join the Hudson Institute in a virtual event titled “Should Companies Subsidized by China Be Permitted to Buy US Tech Firms?”

The event will include a discussion on the Foreign Merger Subsidy Disclosure Act (FMSDA), a bill co-introduced by the two congressmen to require merging companies operating in the United States to disclose information to U.S. antitrust regulators about any financial support or subsidies provided by a foreign government.
