Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Ron Kind announced that he joined a bipartisan letter to President Biden urging the inclusion of robust funding to address PFAS contamination in the Administration’s Fiscal Year 2023 budget.

“We need to take action to protect Wisconsin communities from harmful PFAS contamination,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “As the Administration develops the Fiscal Year 2023 budget, I strongly encourage including comprehensive and robust funding to address PFAS chemicals and ensure clean, safe drinking water for all.”

Rep. Kind is a member of the Congressional PFAS Task Force. Recently, Rep. Kind fought to ensure American Rescue Plan funds could be used to address PFAS and helped introduce and pass the landmark PFAS Action Act, which would protect our air, land, and water from PFAS contamination.
