CHARLEROI, PA— Today, Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) joined the House GOP Commitment to America agenda launch in Pennsylvania with Leader Kevin McCarthy, Whip Steve Scalise, and Chairwoman Elise Stefanik. Following the event, Steil released the following statement.

“I’m committed to creating a strong economy, keeping our communities safe, and holding the government accountable. That’s my commitment to Wisconsin families. One party control in Washington has lost sight of the American people’s priorities. We can change that. It’s time to address high prices, crime in our communities, and bring back checks and balances to Washington.”

Steil asks the audience: “Who has seen their grocery bills increase in the last year?”

During the event, Steil was asked a question from a mother about the cost of living. Rep. Steil responded: By unleashing American energy with an all-the-above approach, we can dramatically reduce the cost of your family’s grocery bill. We also need to put policies in place that are connecting workers to the workforce and preparing workers for the jobs of the future.” To watch Steil’s full response, click here.
