Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI) and Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) introduced a bipartisan resolution highlighting the important role demonstration farms play in the adoption of conservation farming practices in Wisconsin.
“Demonstration farm networks play a critical role in allowing our agricultural industry to test and share cutting-edge conservation practices that help further our farmers’ efforts to be good stewards of the land,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “I’m proud to join my colleague Rep. Gallagher in introducing this resolution to celebrate demonstration farm networks and all the work they do to ensure our watersheds and agricultural lands stay healthy for generations to come.”
“Northeast Wisconsin leads the nation in demonstration farm networks that educate and promote conservation farming practices, and the knowledge demonstration farmers share with their peers has helped expand soil health practices that protect freshwater sources in communities across the country,” said Rep.
