WASHINGTON – On Monday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) released the following statement on President Biden’s fiscal year 2023 budget request.
“The Biden Budget continues the Democrats’ destructive agenda of out-of-control deficit spending, tax increases, and higher debt that will further weaken the U.S. economy and hurt hardworking Americans. It denies the reality that massive deficit spending has already sparked forty year high inflation which is particularly harmful to seniors on a fixed income and individuals at the lower end of the income spectrum – the very people Democrats purport to represent. Instead, this budget reinforces the fact that Democrats have become the party of the elite and are ignoring the destructive results of their socialist policies. I hope the public is paying close attention.”
