SUBJECT: Death Investigation
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Police Department is conducting a death investigation in the Putnam Park area adjacent to campus. The body of an adult male individual was found unresponsive and emergency personnel were notified. UW-Eau Claire Police were assisted by the Eau Claire Police Department, Eau Claire Fire Department and the Eau Claire County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deceased has no ties to UW-Eau Claire, and there is no immediate threat to the community. The identity of the deceased is pending notification of family.
