PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – Today, Derrick Van Orden received the endorsements of 15 Sheriffs from across the 3rd Congressional District of Wisconsin. Citing his leadership and background of service, the Sheriffs agree that Derrick is the best candidate to represent the 3rd District in Congress.
Derrick Van Orden released the following statement accompanying the endorsements:
“Now more than ever, we see how important it is to support our law enforcement officers. The Left’s radical defund the police movement has made our streets less safe, put officers at greater risk, and emboldened criminals. Enough is enough. I proudly back the blue, and am incredibly grateful for the support they have given me. We simply have to have the backs of the men and women who protect us and our families, I always will.”
La Crosse County Sheriff Jeff Wolf released the following statement endorsing Derrick:
“Derrick Van Orden is a decorated veteran, and knows the value of public safety. He has been open and honest with our law enforcement officers about his goals as our representative, and Derrick is the best candidate in this race to fight for the people of Western Wisconsin, stand up for law enforcement, and work to keep our streets safe.”
Eau Claire County Sheriff Ron Cramer released the following statement endorsing Derrick:
“Derrick Van Orden has displayed what it means to be a representative. Working with those who would be his constituents, listening to the challenges they face, and outlining his goals to tackle those challenges. He has worked to law enforcement across Western Wisconsin to learn what we need to fight the drug epidemic, and I am confident he will be a Representative we can be proud of in Washington.”
