PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – The National Journal this week ranked Wisconsin’s 3rd District as the most likely House of Representatives race to flip this year, a critical race in a year where Republicans need just 5 seats to take back control of the House.
Citing Republican candidate Derrick Van Orden’s clear fundraising lead, previous experience running in this district, and the trends that have led this district to become more strongly Republican in recent years, the National Journal writes that Democrat’s chances of holding this seat are dim.
La Crosse’s WKBT covered this story yesterday as well. Check out their coverage below:
Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District race is the district most likely to flip in the entire country, according to a national power ranking by the National Journal.
The report says that Derrick Van Orden, who’s currently running unopposed in the Republican primary, has a leg up on the Democratic candidates who are racing to win their own primary.
