PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – Yesterday, the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) announced their endorsement of Derrick Van Orden for Congress in Wisconsin’s 3rd District.

The announcement came at a small business discussion in La Crosse led by Derrick Van Orden and Bill Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director.

“Derrick Van Orden is a former small business owner and understands how burdensome government regulations can negatively impact a small business,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director. “He has pledged to focus on lessening those regulations and fighting high taxes. We are confident that he will be a pro-small business vote in Congress, and we look forward to working with him.”

“Derrick Van Orden has a clear understanding of what it takes to operate a small business,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He will be a strong advocate for Wisconsin’s small businesses in Congress. We are pleased to endorse him today.”
