Republican 3rd CD candidate Derrick Van Orden has launched the first TV ad in his campaign for retiring Dem U.S. Rep. Ron Kind's seat.
The ad will run in La Crosse and Eau Claire. A spokesman for Van Orden's campaign declined to say how much it spent on the spot.
The 30-second ad features Van Orden sitting on a motorcycle, saying he isn't like "professional politicians" who later become lobbyists....
