Lancaster, WI (February 23) – Lancaster Mayor David Varnam is showing strong grassroots support in Wisconsin’s lieutenant governor race.
David Varnam is the only candidate to finish in the top two in three recent straw polls conducted at county caucuses. He won the Republican Party of Rock County straw poll and placed second in the Republican Party of Sauk County and Republican Party of La Crosse County straw polls. Varnam was also endorsed by Wisconsin Family Action PAC earlier this month. Wisconsin Right to Life PAC and Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, previously announced their endorsement of Varnam for lieutenant governor.
“I am humbled by the statewide support. Since I announced in August 2021, I have traveled over 28,000 miles and my message of protecting the unborn, lowering taxes, and supporting rural Wisconsin is resonating,” Varnam explained. “As Wisconsin’s next lieutenant governor, I will work for all of Wisconsin to create a state where individuals, families, and businesses can thrive.”
