Madison— The Wisconsin Veterans of Foreign Wars is celebrating 100 years of service to veterans during their 2022 state convention at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino in Milwaukee, June 7-11th. Optum Serve has partnered with the VFW by sponsoring the All-State Awards Banquet to be held Friday, June 10th. Optum Serve will also be recognized at the 1920’s-themed Gala on June 9th featuring keynote speaker, Iraq War veteran, Travis Mills with a special appearance by Emmy Award-winning comedian from Wisconsin, Charlie Berens.

“Wisconsin VFW held our first Convention in Milwaukee 100 years ago and we want to bring the tradition back to its origins,” said VFW State Commander, Cory Geisler. “Optum Serve supports the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs’ efforts to modernize and improve health services for our military and its veterans. That aligns with the Wisconsin VFW’s goals and purposes. I am very honored that Optum Serve will be our Awards Banquet sponsor during our historic Centennial Celebration.”
