BROOKFIELD – Lieutenant governor candidate Ben Voelkel, a former senior aide to Senator Ron Johnson, announced a strong fundraising haul of more than $100,000 for his first-ever fundraising period.

“Wisconsin conservatives are excited for an outsider to shake up the go-along, get-along business as usual in Madison and deliver real results instead of playing it safe,” Voelkel said. “As someone who has never run for office before, I’m proud of the support I’ve received around the state. The contrast is clear between an outsider and a field of career politicians who have been holding office or running for office for years.”

Ben has aggressively campaigned statewide for the last three months, putting on more than 6,000 miles and meeting with grassroots activists in 26 counties since announcing his campaign at the end of September.
