Amy, in her time as a representative, has been a true champion for the City of Milwaukee Fire Department and fire departments across the state of Wisconsin. Amy was a champion for all public safety in the past and will continue to be moving forward. Amy Loudenbeck is the best candidate for the position of Secretary of State and we look forward to working with her in the future,” said Eric Daun, President, IAFF Local 215, Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association.

“I’m honored to receive this endorsement. I’ve had a great relationship with our first responders and public safety professionals throughout my time in the legislature. People trust firefighters, and their endorsement of my campaign shows they trust me to not only continue to advocate for them, but to also work hard and restore respect and purpose to the office of Secretary of State,” said Loudenbeck.

During her time in the Wisconsin State Assembly, Loudenbeck worked with Fire and EMS providers on several bills to help them better serve their communities, including 2017 Act 66, enabling legislation for community EMS. Most recently, 2021 Act 228 which allows EMS providers in Wisconsin to access additional federal funding through medical assistance supplemental payments to help cover their uncompensated costs.
