MADISON, Wis. – Ron Johnson praised the overturning of Roe v. Wade as a “victory” and bragged about appointing the justices who handed down the decision. Johnson knew full well that his push would enable Wisconsin’s 1849 statute, which bans nearly all abortions, to go into effect.

“Ron Johnson’s dangerous attempts to take away Wisconsinites’ reproductive freedoms is why they’re going to vote him out of office in November,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Senate Advisory Philip Shulman.
