Comes after Johnson voiced support for a GOP agenda that would raise taxes on 32% of Wisconsinites.

MADISON, Wis. – In a new interview, Ron Johnson adamantly pushed back against billionaires paying their fair share – the same individuals that benefitted when he worked overtime to secure special tax breaks in the 2017 tax law.

Johnson previously changed the 2017 GOP Tax Scam bill in a way that benefitted himself and his biggest donors by hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition, Johnson voted against tax cuts for Wisconsin families.

“Ron Johnson’s self-serving agenda is simple: make hard working Wisconsinites pick up the tab for the massive handouts he’s delivered to himself and his billionaire donors,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Senate Communications Advisor Philip Shulman.
