MADISON, Wis. – Ron Johnson just voted against the critical bipartisan CHIPS-Plus Act, which will invest in manufacturing, help ease costs, improve supply chains, and ensure the U.S. is better equipped to compete against China in technological innovation.
In response, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Senate Communications Advisor Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“Ron Johnson is once again selling out Wisconsin workers, this time to manufacturers in countries like China, as he puts his special interest donors ahead of what’s best for Wisconsin. Wisconsinites have seen that when it matters most, Ron Johnson isn’t working for them, and they will vote him out of office come November.”
