n a speech this week to the AFL-CIO, President Biden made highly dishonest claims of Sen. Johnson’s stance on ACA and protections for pre-existing conditions.

Soon after the distorted remarks from Biden, the far-left group, Protect our Care, attacked Sen. Johnson on the same false claims in a release. Protect Our Care is a liberal dark money affiliate of the juggernaut Arabella Advisors, who have spent millions backing Democrats without revealing the source of their funds.

Sen. Johnson has never suggested repealing the ACA or getting rid of protections for pre-existing conditions. In fact, Johnson previously stated that he and Republicans do not have some secretive nonexistent plan to repeal Obamacare, but that the GOP needs to be better prepared for this issue when they get the majorities back.

Even PolitiFact debunked the lies from Democrat Senate candidate Sarah Godlewski, who also claimed that Johnson is “trying to let insurance companies deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.” PolitiFact stated “Johnson’s office said the senator has committed to protections for people with pre-existing conditions. They pointed to his introduction of the Protect Act in February 2021, which would prohibit health insurers from imposing exclusions on plans based on pre-existing conditions.”

“It comes as no surprise that Joe Biden and his liberal Democrats are making up false attacks about Sen. Johnson as a way to distract from the failures of their governance.” – Republican Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Mike Marinella
