[Madison, WI] – Consumer prices rose 8.5% from a year ago, the fastest increase since 1981, and Democrats running for the U.S. Senate had nothing to say about it.

Wisconsin voters are feeling the pain of inflation, which was sparked by reckless federal spending from Democrats in Washington, DC. One recent poll showed 96% of Wisconsin voters are concerned about it. Yet candidates Mandela Barnes, Tom Nelson, Sarah Godlewski, and Alex Lasry – who love to take to social media to attack Ron Johnson and push their political agenda – were silent on these new damaging numbers.

“Inflation is a tax on all Americans that hits middle-income earners and seniors hardest,” said Republican Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Mike Marinella. “By refusing to acknowledge inflation, liberals are ignoring voters’ top priority caused by their party’s agenda, and Wisconsinites deserve to know how they intend to end it.”
