Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce has launched a digital ad touting its endorsement of Republican Rebecca Kleefisch for guv.
A WMC spokesman said the ad targets GOP primary voters around the state. A filing from the WMC Jobs Fund with the state Ethics Commission shows the group spent $24,998 on the digital buy.
The narrator in the spot says the state needs new leadership as the state faces a workforce shortage, ballooning inflation and rising crime. The narrator says Kleefisch has proven she can jumpstart the economy and “make Wisconsin affordable again for our families.”
The narrator adds Kleefisch will ensure schools do a better job preparing kids, will support police and will help families “keep more of what they’ve earned.”
