MILWAUKEE –  Please join executives from all Wisconsin’s 11 local workforce boards and the Wisconsin Society for Human Resource Management Council SHRM as they welcome a panle of experts to highlight success stories and share insights into ways employers can tap into Wisconsin’s hidden workforce.

Matt Glowacki, Wisconsin SHRM’s DE&I Director, discuss the use of Affinity Accounts and other cultural investments to accommodate team members with disabilities. He will also discuss ways employers can identify employment and accommodation gaps across the spectrum of disability.

Eli Rivera, founder of the THE WAY OUT a comprehensive anti-bias job platform, will discuss ways employers can engage justice involved individuals and share insight into hiring formerly incarcerated individuals.

Matthew Bray of Oshkosh based packaging company AMCOR will share his company’s experience facilitating the resettlement and integration of 55 Afghanistan refugees which includes placing them into full-time employment.

Bray will highlight a model of integration for targeted populations into work settings and speak to the successful supportive changes to culture they made from an equity model, along with how they communicated with their existing workforce to explain the investments made into their new team members.
