MADISON, Wis. – Commissioner Julie Glancey, clerk Commission member and Democratic Party appointee, announced her intent to resign from her role on May 1 following a long career of supporting Wisconsin election administration. Glancey, 72, a former Sheboygan County Clerk, was first appointed to the WEC by Gov. Scott Walker in 2016. She was most recently appointed to the Commission by Gov. Tony Evers. Since 2022, she has served as Secretary of the Commission, and her term goes until 2026. MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) asks the public to report chimney swift sightings to help monitor trends and locate important roost sites. Swifts are small, unique birds that are in flight all day long as they hunt for flying insects.
