MADISON, Wis. — Today, President Joe Biden visited Milwaukee to celebrate the economic, climate, and clean water strides happening in Wisconsin, many of them made possible by Biden Administration investments like the CHIPS Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

“We appreciate President Biden coming to Wisconsin to shed light on his administration’s efforts to make sure we have an economy that works for working families, safe drinking water, and a climate that will support generations to come,” said Chris Walloch, executive director of A Better Wisconsin Together.

While Republicans are busy sowing division to distract Wisconsinites from their failure to get things done, the Biden Administration is delivering real solutions to the issues constituents care about, like:

  • Signing the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law – two historic bills that continue to create jobs, increase wages, replace lead pipes across the state, lower prescription drug costs, protect the environment, improve our infrastructure, and give us the tools we need to build a good life;
  • Lowering costs, creating jobs, and strengthening supply chains through the CHIPS Act;
  • Launching the SAVE Student Loan Repayment Plan, to ease the financial burden for Wisconsin families as the student loan repayment pause ends;
  • Establishing a federal childcare grant program to save money for low-income families.

“Thanks to Biden Administration investments, hard working families in Wisconsin have received essential resources that will help people support their families and build a better future,” Walloch added. “It’s time that Wisconsin Republicans in Congress end the partisan antics and start working together with President Biden to deliver for Wisconsinites.”
