The Assembly today passed on a 77-20 bipartisan vote a bill that would require the Department of Corrections to post information about the Parole Commission’s actions online and open meetings to the public.
The information would include people granted or denied parole, and people who returned to prison after their parole was revoked. Fourteen Dems joined Republicans in favor.
