Assembly passes reading education bill with bipartisan support

The Assembly today approved 67-27 a bill to change the way Wisconsin schools teach reading, sending the measure to the Senate.  The bill received bipartisan support with, Reps. Deb Andraca, Sue Conley, Bob Considine, Dora Drake, Tip McGuire, Sylvia Ortiz-Velez, Tod Ohnstad and Shelia Stubbs voting to pass it. Two Republicans, Reps.
