The Assembly has approved a series of bills that would make changes to the state's unemployment insurance program.
The chamber Tuesday also approved legislation that would bar local governments from using public funds for guaranteed income programs and another that would require the Department of Health Services to review the eligibility of BadgerCare Plus participants every six months.
The BadgerCare bill passed 60-35 along party lines. It would require the agency to redetermine eligibility every six months and remove those who are ineligible from the program.
