President Joe Biden’s campaign has launched a new 60-second TV ad in the Milwaukee market touting efforts to lower prescription drug costs.
The campaign said the ad is part of a 16-week, $25 million campaign it previously announced in battleground states. The ad will run for four weeks on broadcast TV in Milwaukee.
The spot features a woman identified as Jody, a pediatrician nurse in Las Vegas. She says the last administration’s policies helped turn the health care system into a business and “people are becoming billionaires off the back of sick people.” She credits Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris with changes that mean “families can afford medication now” and bemoans the idea of returning to policies that helped the “right get richer and left so many people behind.”
