MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee County Board Supervisor Peter Burgelis announced his campaign for City of Milwaukee District 11 Alderperson following the retirement announcement of long-serving Alderman (and former County Supervisor) Mark Borkowski. .
Burgelis says, “I am honored to serve Milwaukee County as District 15 Supervisor and am proud of our accomplishments for the County and my constituents – and even more work lies ahead.
Milwaukee has vibrant and diverse neighborhoods full of people who work hard and care for one another. To improve the experience for all, there are still serious challenges that need real solutions. My success on the County Board shows that I share the values of the Milwaukee community. I get real work done that improves our County and I consistently deliver for my constituents. I’ll do the same for the City of Milwaukee as District 11 Alderperson.”
Voters tell me that they want their city to be safe, have the best public services, and have well-maintained roads. I’ll do the hard work necessary to achieve that and collaborate with the other leaders to make sure our city thrives. I’m qualified to take on these challenges from years of community involvement and serving others.”
The Spring General Election will be held on April 2, 2024. For more information about Peter’s campaign, please visit peterformke.com
