Department of Revenue Secretary Peter Barca announced Cari Redington has been appointed to serve as Research and Policy Division Administrator.

Our Research and Policy Division provides detailed analyses of fiscal and economic policies and develops statistical reports for our government and business stakeholders. Cari’s business development and marketing experience will help us to further connect them with the information they need in a global economy.”
Most recently, Redington served as Vernon County, Wisconsin’s first-ever county administrator, where she managed a staff of approximately 300 full-time employees. While there, she initiated and implemented major organizational changes including a wage study; updates to compensation plans and performance evaluations; diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; and priority-based budgeting.
Prior to that, she spent more than 15 years in the private sector in several senior-level positions with Warner Brothers Entertainment Group, Disney Consumer Products, Samsung Global Strategy Group and Accenture. Additionally, she has international work experience, having worked in Korea and Australia.
Redington holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
