Evers budget to call for increased drunk driving penalties, driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants

Gov. Tony Evers today called for stiffening the penalty for drunk driving while again proposing to allow illegal immigrants to obtain a state-issued driver's license.

Evers also proposed dedicating $60 million in state funds to help local governments redesign roads to slow down traffic and combat reckless driving.
