Evers reaches deal with GOP leaders on education along with shared revenue package

Along with striking a deal on shared revenue, GOP leaders and Dem Gov. Tony Evers have agreed on a package that would boost funding for K-12 schools by $1 billion between state aid and property tax revenue.

The guv announced today the agreement also would increase the state vouchers for children in choice and charter schools, along with the special needs scholarship program.
