MADISON, Wis. – Family Friendly Action PAC released the following statement today, endorsing Judge Janet Protasiewicz in the critical Wisconsin Supreme Court race.

Brita Olsen, Family Friendly Action PAC Wisconsin State Director:

“This week, Wisconsin voters sent a clear message: They want a justice who will fight for them and uphold their values. That is why we are proud to endorse Judge Janet Protasiewicz in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. Judge Protasiewicz has consistently put common sense and decency above all else, and she is a proven fighter for working families and our freedoms.

“Over the past few decades, we have seen the State Supreme Court make critical decisions that threaten our values and freedoms, and without change we can only expect this to continue. With issues like reproductive health care and same-sex marriage at stake, we cannot continue to allow the extreme majority to control the state’s highest court.

“Wisconsin families need a justice who will uphold their values and rule with fairness and impartiality. Wisconsin families need Judge Protasiewicz on the State Supreme Court, and we are excited to support her path to victory on April 4.”

Based on unofficial results, Protasiewicz came in first in the primary election, winning roughly 445,000 votes, or 46 percent of the vote – more than the votes of Jennifer Dorow and Dan Kelly, combined.
