MILWAUKEE – (August 2, 2023) – Join Hunger Task Force and Wells Fargo for the Opening Day donation tradition at the Wisconsin State Fair. On Thursday, August 3, fairgoers can participate in the Wells Fargo $5 Day benefiting Hunger Task Force and donate two cans of healthy fruits or vegetables, or make a cash donation at the gate to receive a $5 admission voucher from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

While attending the fair on Opening Day, fairgoers can stop by Central Park and join Hunger Task Force and partnering farmers and producers from rural Wisconsin. Fairgoers can take a “tour” to learn about Hunger Task Force’s work to support Wisconsin agriculture while enjoying samples from Marieke GoudaNueske’s and Chieftain Wild Rice and listen to live music from, The Jimmys.

Fairgoers will also have the opportunity to help Hunger Task Force win $100,000! Hunger Task Force is a national finalist in the 2023 Kubota Hometown Proud voting contest and has a chance to win a $100,000 community grant! Fair attendees can stop by Central Park and use their smartphones to scan a QR code or visit KubotaHometownProud.com to vote for Hunger Task Force. Fairgoers can vote now and daily to help feed families. Voting is open until August 14, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. CT.

In addition, every voter who participates is entered into a separate sweepstakes* for a chance to win a Kubota BX Series sub-compact tractor or Z200 Series zero turn mower.
