Milwaukee, WI – Local 494 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is proud to join with its state representative body, the IBEW Wisconsin State Conference, in publicly endorsing Judge Janet Protasiewicz.

“Our local union is pleased and excited that our State Conference moved to endorse Judge Janet’s campaign,” said IBEW Local 494 Business Manager and Financial Secretary Dean A. Warsh. “We are long overdue in having a fair and impartial majority serving us on this state’s highest court; a court that should put common sense and the rule of law above partisan games. It’s time for a change and Judge Janet is the change that we need. That is why IBEW Local 494 has also endorsed her.”

“I’m humbled by the amount of support I am receiving from organized labor organizations,” said Judge Protasiewicz. “And I’m honored to now add IBEW Local 494, the local union which represents electrical workers here in Milwaukee County, where I have had the honor to serve as a prosecutor and a judge for more than three decades. I look forward to continuing to provide fair and common-sense justice once elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”

Local 494 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) proudly represents electrical professionals throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Fond Du Lac, Sheboygan and Dodge counties; along with Wisconsin political campaign professionals and the Wisconsin workers of Colectivo Coffee Roasters.
