Milwaukee, WI – International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Wisconsin State Conference President Dean A. Warsh has released the following statement after Judge Janet’s huge primary election win last night:

“IBEW Wisconsin is ready to roll up our sleeves and continue to put the work in to ensure we have as successful of a night on April 4th as we had in last night’s spring primary election,” said State Conference President Dean A. Warsh.

“Judge Janet’s victory was a clear sign that the working families of Wisconsin want an impartial champion elected to fill the open seat on our state supreme court and showed that we are long overdue in having the rule of law and common sense placed above the partisan games that has plagued our court under the current majority.”

“We will continue to do what it takes to educate our members throughout Wisconsin about how important it is that they vote and cast their ballot for Judge Janet Protasiewicz, the candidate who will bring the change that we need as our next justice.”

The IBEW Wisconsin State Conference serves as the statewide representative body of more than 15,000 members of the IBEW. It works to secure legislation and policy on their behalf while promoting the interests and issues of organized IBEW workers in multiple sectors throughout Wisconsin.
