The Joint Finance committee voted 12-4 along party lines to approve the state budget after Republicans signed off on a $3.5 billion income tax cut and voted to cut $32 million from the UW System.
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, in a statement hailed the tax cuts.
