Today, Tara Johnson, Democrat running for Wisconsin’s third congressional district, announced eleven new endorsements from La Crosse County Board Supervisors. These current and former members of the La Crosse County Board had a front row seat to Johnson’s tireless work on the Board for 20 years and as Chair for 9 years, solving problems by bringing people together to provide quality services, balancing budgets, enhancing cost savings, improving infrastructure across La Crosse, supporting smart development, and helping small businesses.
Johnson continues to build a strong, grassroots campaign to defeat Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden, previously picking up major endorsements from Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski, former candidate for WI-03 Deb McGrath, State Assemblyman Steve Doyle, and State Senator Melissa Agard.
New La Crosse Endorsers Include:
Monica Kruse, Chair, La Crosse County Board
Kim Cable, First Vice Chair, La Crosse County Board
Randy Erickson, Second Vice Chair, La Crosse County Board
Maureen Freedland, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
Peggy Isola, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
Dillon Mader, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
Matt Nikolay, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
David Pierce, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
Tina Tryggestad, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board
Dawn Wacek, Supervisor, La Crosse County Board

“As my people-powered campaign continues to build momentum, I’m proud to have the support from so many of my colleagues on the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors who saw first hand how I bring people together to solve our toughest problems for working families, small businesses, and people who have been left behind,” said Democrat Tara Johnson. “Right now, we have a Congressman who’s more focused on temper tantrums and pushing an extreme agenda, than getting the job done for us. I’ve spent my life giving back to the community and getting things done in La Crosse and Western Wisconsin, and will do the same in Congress.”
