“For over a year, women across Wisconsin have been hurt by a draconian law that criminalized abortion, putting far too many in danger and depriving women of critical care. With Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s announcement today, that ends. Once again, women in Wisconsin will have access to life-saving reproductive care and that is great news.
“But our fight doesn’t stop today— Republicans in Madison and Washington, especially Rep. Derrick Van Orden, continue to make dangerous attacks on access to abortion care and pushing for even more restrictions on our reproductive freedom.
“Abortion is essential health care and should be a decision made between a woman and her doctor. I’ll never stop fighting for what’s right – all Wisconsinites and Americans should have the right to make their own healthcare decisions, without politicians inserting themselves in the middle.”
