Slinger – Attorney Russell Jones announced today that he has secured ballot access for the Washington County Circuit Court Branch One election on April 4th. During December, Russ and his campaign received well over 400 nomination signatures, signaling that momentum was clearly on his side and that his grassroots support was deep in Washington County.
Jones released the following statement:
“ I am grateful for the support to have received this early in my campaign. Across Washington County I have consistently heard that people want to be represented by a judge who shares their values and not someone handpicked by political forces in Madison. I vow to defend the rule of law and I will stand up to liberal judicial activists who seek to use the judiciary for their political gain. As your judge, I will protect the community, enforce our laws equally, and abide by the Constitution.”
The campaign also released its first ad titled “Jones for Judge”. The ad will play on digital platforms in Washington County and covers Jones’ legal experience, his conservative judicial philosophy, and his opponents ties to liberal politicians.
