The state's fiscal picture through mid-2025 took a slight hit today as the Legislative Fiscal Bureau projected Wisconsin will take in $755.1 million less than what the agency had projected four months ago.
Still, the LFB also noted the drop in revenues would be offset somewhat in the near term, leaving the state with a $6.9 billion surplus at the end of June rather than the $7.1 billion that had been expected.
What's more, Wisconsin is still on path to see revenues grow in the 2023-25 biennium compared to the current two-year period.
