MILWAUKEE, WI – Today, County Executive David Crowley announced Milwaukee County will hold four in-person town halls on the 2024 budget. Milwaukee County budget town halls are an opportunity for residents to hear about the county vision and mission, get connected to key resources, and share their thoughts regarding the upcoming budget.

“I’m excited to announce four in-person budget town halls on the heels of the historic local revenue reform enabled by the County Board of Supervisors last week. Town halls are a great way for the community to learn more about revenue reform and its impact on future budgets, understand the entire budget process, and to express their budget priorities. They are also a fantastic way for our administration officials to learn what residents need and how we can best meet those needs” said County Executive David Crowley. “Residents should save these dates in August and make a plan to engage in the budget process this month.”

Residents can register to attend any of the town halls at county.milwaukee.gov/budget2024. In addition to budget presentations, each in-person town hall will include a resource fair where residents can connect with County departments to access available services and inquire about employment opportunities.
