MADISON – (March 29, 2023) The NFIB Wisconsin political action committee, NFIB WI PAC, announced today it has endorsed Daniel Knodl for the special election in Senate District 8.
“Daniel Knodl understands the issues small business cares about, and NFIB and its members know he will listen and help with the historic economic challenges small businesses face throughout our state,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB State Director in Wisconsin, “Representative Knodl has the experience of owning and operating a small business, taking on risk, and creating jobs. We need lawmakers in Madison who understand that owning and operating a small business has become a challenge in Wisconsin and will work hard to approve legislation that will encourage new business formation and promote small business growth.”
Daniel Knodl was a small business owner and has been a member of the State Assembly since 2009. He says his “priority is to keep our communities safe and thriving, and make sure government is working efficiently for the people. Thanks to the commonsense budgeting and cutting government waste over the years, we’ve been able to reduce the tax burden on families and small businesses, invest in education, reduce healthcare premiums, and much more.” Representative Knodl received the NFIB’s Guardian Award for the 2013-14 and 2015-16 Sessions of the Legislature, has a 100% voting record supporting small business, and is the lead author on legislation to eliminate the personal property tax.
NFIB WI PAC supports candidates who are committed to making Wisconsin a better place to do business. State senators play a key role in defending the right of small business owners to open, operate, and grow their own businesses.
The NFIB WI PAC endorsement is an important message to voters across the state that a candidate will stand with small business. Learn more about the Power of the Small Business Voice.
